Getting that Gatwick Glow

You’ve got to give it to London’s Gatwick Airport. They’ve managed to liven up the often tedious transit process by giving free tans to all travellers.

With the help of St. Tropez, the Gatwick Glow initiative held between July 28 and August 1 offered travellers a free spray tan from St. Tropez Experts in specially appointed tanning booths in the airport’s North and South terminals.

With European airfares so competitive and four major airports in the London region – Gatwick are setting themselves apart from the competition. “Gatwick Glow is designed to give our passengers a boost,” Kim Francis, marketing manager for the airport told the Daily Mail. “We want them to head off on their holiday feeling great about themselves.”
Now if only we could get airlines to improve their offer!
